Okay, I have seen cracks in my walls, and in my bricks on the outside of my house. I have doors that won't close, and I have noticed that my floors are sloping a bit.

How do you repair my foundation?
We work with steel piers which are hydraulically driven straight down into the bed rock to support the foundation. These steel piers are the best method for slab foundations and are recommended for structures that need to be raised or large homes that have very heavy load requirements. See Graphic

What caused my foundation problem?
Many houses are originally built with foundations that are not suitable for the soil conditions here in North Texas. With our growing North Texas communities and new home developments, homes are often built on land that has insufficient weight bearing capacity to support the weight of the home.

Not to mention, here in Texas, much of our soil consists of clays that shrink and expand with our lively weather patterns, as the moisture and heat changes. With our soil makeup, foundation movement can occur when wetting and drying of the clays occurs in an uneven manner across the entire slab.

Moisture in the soil can change for many reasons besides our weather, including tree root growth, improper drainage, and leaks in plumbing.

Could I have prevented my foundation problem?
It depends. To be honest, the land and weather in Texas (as described above) is something you would have had no control over. With that said, new homes and structures built on Texas land are not always supported properly by the land alone.

Certainly, you can help prevent problems by keeping your trees and vegetation away from the parameter of your home, since they deprive the foundation of the moisture, In addition, you can keep your foundation moist with proper watering. For more information on this, please Contact Us.

And how do I keep it from happening again?
You don't have to do anything. If you repair your foundation with RG Foundation repair, we guarantee your foundation stability for life. We also offer a lifetime, transferable warranty.
